My Disabilities - A True Story

In 2017 it all began with this strange tick in my right hand, at first I thought nothing of it so went about my life. As the years passed things had only gotten worse! That tick in my hand?Quickly became a tremor and then a tremor on the whole right side of my body to the point I could not keep my leg still. Well before I knew it it had spread everywhere throughout my body. At 43 I was diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson’s disease. Yup as I am sure many of you know it’s what Michael J Fox has and maybe some of your family members too.

Last year I had a brain Stimulator put in DBS or Deep Brain Stimulator. It’s supposed to stop some of the shaking but not 100%. Well a year later I am not as shaky and I am now hoping to follow my dreams. I don’t know how long I will be able to travel, do things, make people happy, have a job and still have some dignity left, so I look at this as my second opportunity to life.

This is how I can be of service… I specialize in disabilities as someone who can barely stand on two feet sometimes and walks around with a walking stick, sometimes ends up in a wheelchair, and have been around my father who had to use a walker. I know how hard it is to travel. Even families with Autism, or mental health illnesses or any other disabilities, veterans, My Father served in Vietnam before getting gang green and having to be sent home. It’s HARD! No one else but you or someone like you knows how hard it really is to travel! If you have a disability or a family member with a disability that you would like to take with you… I want to chat with you absolutely no pressure. I want to make traveling easier for you! If you haven’t in traveled in awhile or at all call, text, email whatever whenever you’re ready I want to help you get out and see the world 🌎. I am your help from beginning to end of trip!

I 💕 you all dearly!

Stay safe
